For the duration of this tumultuous time period, Goryeo momentarily conquered Liaoyang in 1356, repulsed two big invasions because of the Red Turbans in 1359 and 1360, and defeated the ultimate attempt through the Yuan to dominate Goryeo when Standard Ch'oe Y?ng defeated a Mongol tumen in 1364.
